Bem-vindo ao Pension De La Plage
On the island of Tahiti, the Pension de la Plage is a colonial style building, located in a garden with tropical colors and scents.
The swimming pool is at the foot of your room and will offer you the opportunity to refresh or sunbathe. You will find at the beach guesthouse the sweetness of life and the kindness of the Polynesian welcome.
We will be happy to share our knowledge and love of Polynesia.
We are in the commune of Punaauia, a residential town on the west coast of Tahiti, the sunniest of the island, located at PK 15.4, in other words, 15.4 kms from the city of Papeete.
Our small family hotel is a 15 minute drive from the airport and 25 minutes from Papeete, the cruise ship and ferry port. It is possible to take the bus in front of the pension.
Your room is 150 meters from the white sandy beach of Toaroto.
The lagoon is ideal for snorkeling, as there are many coral spats in which the fish like to hide. You will find many places to eat near the guesthouse in addition to our table d’hôte.
During the week you can find at least 8 restaurants and a trailer for lunch, and at least 3 trailers and 3 restaurants for dinner.
At 400 m from the pension, you will find the hotel Le Meridien where you will be able to see Polynesian dance shows on Friday nights at 7:30 pm. You will find the Tamanu shopping center with its 60 stores at 450 meters from the pension.
In the shopping center you will find all the commodities: a super market of general food, a pharmacy, a medical center, jewelers, a photographer, restaurants, the post office, a bookstore, a tobacco shop, a bank, a gas station, hairdressers, a florist, clothing stores, curios etc…
And finally you can go to the museum of Tahiti and her islands by foot by the beach, it is 800 meters from us.
